Hi, I’m Andria.

As the founder of San Benito Blooming, I understand the challenges that come with the perinatal period - before, during, and after delivery. Mother of 3 boys, I became a first-time mom in 2015. I was a Prenatal Educator at the time working for a large healthcare organization.

I thought I knew what to expect.

Much to my surprise, my first parenting journey became a humbling time for me. My personal experience as a new mom led me back to my studies in childbirth, lactation, early childhood, and postpartum emotional wellness.

Something I learned over time is that while we strive for perfection, being a perfect mother doesn’t exist!

We are all doing the best we can.

The transition of parenthood for many families is surprising to them and overwhelming at times. You are not alone if you are feeling this way. My vision is to offer a stronger network of preparation and connection.

I founded San Benito Blooming to be your support system.

Bloom with me!

My background

Since 2007, I have continued to provide perinatal health and wellness services at a large healthcare organization, serving as a Health Educator II and Member Education Specialist III. Additionally, I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I currently provide outpatient prenatal, postpartum, and lactation care in the community as well.

I was a Certified Lactation Educator Counselor (CLEC) and Certified Childbirth Educator (CCE) for nearly a decade before studying to become a Lactation Consultant. As my passions grew, I completed my mentorship at the Hazel Hawkins - Infant Feeding Group where I mentored with the prominent Jana Tomasini, RN, IBCLC.

As a member of San Benito County, California, I am dedicated to ensuring that comprehensive perinatal services are accessible locally. I hope to bridge any gaps by partnering with San Benito County providers to serve as a dependable outpatient resource for prenatal, postpartum, lactation, and family support.

*I am also available virtually to support families across the country. I accept most insurance and am part of the Newborn Families Program with The Lactation Network.
